FAQs
Click on the apply link on the website, and follow the instructions to create an account, or log in. Once you’re in, you’re able to go through the submission process and pay for the submissions you’ve selected.
The judging process takes place after the competition closes. The competition is judged by 3 judges from outside our region. They score each submission from 1-100 and then the average of the 3 scores is the final score. The top 10% of scores win Gold Awards, the next 20% win Silver, and then our club offers Bronze awards. The Judges also select their favorite projects, and vote on one submission to win best of show.
The National American Advertising Federation organization has a list of judges who have experienced the AAA judging process before. We select three judges from that list from communities that are outside our own district, and similar size markets.
Everyone will be notified once the judging has been completed. Winners will also be told that their submission has won an award, but not which award until the Awards ceremony.
Admin can make edits to the submissions before the judging begins – if you need to make updates, reach out to admin@aafnci.org. There shouldn’t be any issues that disqualify a submission.
About the ADDYs
We celebrate the classiest creative minds in our area. Gold winners automatically advance to the district competition and the best regional designs will compete at the national level. You must be a member of the AAF-NCI to enter.
